About Us
One Aim Clothing was conceived by a group of friends in the East County of San Diego, California. We began more or less as a music club sharing the latest hit reggae songs for the positive energy and inspirational lyrics. The larger our “music collective” grew, it opened our eyes to the real power and possibilities that sharing with others can bring. To expand on this, we wanted to create a brand of clothing that would represent us and what we love about the music. An underlying theme and what we love about reggae music is the idea that people must unite to solve real problems and better their lives and communities. The One Aim concept comes from the motto of the U.N.I.A. a civil/human rights organization founded by Marcus Garvey from Jamaica in the early 20th century. Their motto One God, One Aim, One Destiny is a very popular lyric in reggae music used as a cry for freedom and equality around the world. Our apparel is handcrafted in southern California and made from the finest cotton available. Our passion for quality is evident in every piece we make. With organic fabrics, bright colors, and a message of peace, love, earth and oneness, we deliver a new style that attracts the best kind of attention. We have been building a strong foundation in San Diego from which to distribute our products. Working with surf, skate and culture shops we are able to reach those who have heard reggae music and its message. Also supporting local musicians and DJ’s we are in the community on a grass roots campaign to promote our brand.
